Celebrate Mesa is a free family event that brings the community together to enjoy games, carnival rides, entertainment and more! Some of the fun family activities will include:

  • Experience the recently renovated park that features a one-of-a-kind playground, a splash pad and a water wall!

  • Live Music from Freddie Duran Plan 11:30am

  • Recently Restored Historic Pioneer Park Locomotive 
  • Sign up for the 1st annual Celebrate Mesa horseshoe tournament (starts at 10:30am)

Q:  Are dogs allowed at the event?

A:  Dogs must remain on leash and must remain in control by their owner.

 Q:  What are the Carnival/Signature rides?

A:  Meltdown (48"), Bumper Cars (42"), Tubs of Fun (42"), Ballistic Swing (42"), Rock Wall (42")

Q:  Where can I buy a wristband for the Carnival/Signature rides?

A:  At the booth for Foundation for Mesa Parks and Recreation located in the northern half of the park, near the rock climbing wall.

Q:  Can I bring food or drinks?

A:  Food and drinks are welcome.  Please, no alcohol or tobacco products.

Q:  Will water be available?

A:  Water Resources will be refilling water bottles from their Water Bar located in the center of the park near the restrooms.  Mesa’s athletes with disabilities will also be selling bottled water ($1) at two locations. The water sales will serve as a fundraiser for the athletes to compete in Seattle.

Volunteer work is predominately conducted outdoors and is subject to inclement weather. Exposure to large crowds is likely. All volunteers must be 16 and older, or 14 and older if volunteering with a parent or guardian, unless otherwise noted.
