• All recreation programming and events are suspended.  In addition, we have closed recreation facilities for programming including Red Mountain Center, Eagles Community Center, Jefferson Recreation Center, Webster Recreation Center, Mesa Tennis Center, Kino Aquatic Center and Skyline Aquatic Center. Private rentals of City parks and facilities will be managed on a case by case basis with event organizers.

  • City playgrounds, volleyball, tennis, basketball courts, pickleball courts, and splash pads are closed.

  • All open spaces, passive play spaces, trails, and walking paths will remain open for public use from sunrise to 10 PM.  Physical distancing guidelines recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) still apply in these areas.

    • The following park restrooms will remain open and will receive cleaning and supply service as resources allow. All other park restrooms remain closed until further notice.

  • While parks are cleaned and maintained on a regular basis, we encourage users to remember, the best way to reduce the risk of getting sick and to avoid COVID-19:
    • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
    • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
    • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
    • Stay home when you are sick.
    • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
    • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.

Quail Run Baseball Complex

  • Four-plex consists of two youthbaseball fields and two youth softball fields.

  • All four fields have 200-foot outfield fences.

  • All four fields are lighted and have covered dugouts and electronic scoreboards.

  • The two softball fields can be converted to baseball with the on-site portable mounds provided by the City.

  • There is bleacher seating behind the home-plate backstop of each field.  Bleacher seating can accommodate up to 500 people total for the complex.

  • There are two batting tunnels to the west of the complex that can be used in conjunction with a facility reservation.  A special provision must be listed on the permittee's insurance prior to usage.  Batting tunnels are not rented out independent of a facility reservation.

To reserve a field, please complete the Application for Use of city Sports Fields and submit via email to or drop off Monday through Friday, from 9am-4:30pm at Eagles Community Center,828 E Broadway Rd., Mesa AZ 85204, or call 480-644-2187.


General Information

  • The complex has 434 parking spaces, including 10 designated handicap spaces.

  • There is a not a contracted concessionnaire on-site. Vending is allowed by permit only.

  • During the summer months of May through September, all games must be played between the hours of 8:00am and 10:00pm.  Gates to the facility can be opened at 7:00am for the public.  However, games cannot begin any earlier than 8:00am.

  • During the winter months of October through April, all games must be played between the hours of 9:00am and 10:00pm.  Gates to the facility can be opened at 8:00am for the public.  However, games cannot begin any earlier than 9:00am.  Some winter open times are subject to change due to overseeding and field playability.
