Spring Registration begins January 6th at 8:00am for Mesa residents and January 13th at 8:00am for non-residents. The main office of Mesa Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities Department has moved.  The new main office is located at 708 W. Baseline Road, #4, which is between Country Club Drive and Extension Road.

Babysitter Training Plus CPR/AED/First Aid 

This course provides students with the knowledge and skills to confidently care for infants and school age children. Participants will learn how to respond to emergencies and illness with first aid and other appropriate care along with all of the babysitting basics. Students will receive a Babysitters Certification Card good for 2 years. This course also incorporates the latest science and teaches students how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies. Successful students will receive a certificate for Adult/Child/Infant CPR/AED and First Aid valid for two years. Students should bring a non-perishable lunch or snacks. Spring Break Bonanza (Camps) 

Join us during Spring Break for learning, exercise, sports, and most of all, FUN! Participants must be able to function in a 1:20 staff to child ratio, be in an active group setting for an extended period of time, be able to take care of their own basic daily living skills and must be currently enrolled in K-6th grade.

American Red Cross Lifeguard Training

This course is designed to teach lifeguarding responsibilities and rescue skills to certify participants for potential employment. Class includes CPR/AED for the Professional Lifeguard certification. Come prepared to swim on the first day. Participants must be 15 yrs. or older by the last day of class. Proof of age required first day of class, bring ID or birth certificate. All class dates are mandatory. Fee includes additional equipment. Course pre-requisite skills tested on the first day: 1. Swim 300 yards continuously using freestyle and backstroke. 2. Swim 20 yards, surface dive to a depth of 10 feet and retrieve a 10 pound object, return to the surface and swim 20 yards back to the starting point with the object in both hands (head out of water), and climb out of the pool without using the steps or ladder in under 1 minute 40 seconds. Tennis Junior Spring Break Camp 

Spring Break Tennis Camp is Monday-Thursday 12pm to 3pm. There are 4 different levels that players can register for; Beginner (Red Ball), Advanced Beginner (Orange Ball), Intermediate (Green Dot Ball), and Champions (Yellow Ball). At our camp we break the campers into small instructional groups of similar age and ability, so each child is working in a group that is comparable with their experience level. We tailor each program to the level of the players. Class includes snack break. Some pickleball instruction may also be introduced. For more information, call 480-644-3874.
